Leylandii Feed

What is the best way to feed a leylandii tree, so that you get the maximum growth out of the plant.

Leylandiis don't need feeding, they will often look after themselves without any problems. If you do feed them, then growth can be as high as 4ft per year. Though if you do feed them will some kind of fertiliser, quicker results will happen.

f you plant them in compost, there will be enough nutrients in that feed for them to survive for a whole year. Remember that growth is slower in the first year than in any others. This is due to the roots becoming established and setting up their base. Once this has been accomplished, the leylandlii will grow without any help from you.

Although we'd love to sell you plant feed by the gallon for your Leylandii, it really isn't needed, keep your money in your pocket.

Did You Know?

The best place to get advice for Leylandii problems is your local Council. Believe it or there is no set way to interpret the law regarding Leylandii.

It's a bit like a postcode lottery with the way Council's deal with problems, so no website can give you 100% accurate advice unfortunately about the way your Council enforces it.
