I planted 30 small 3' trees last year. They have grown well (almost double their original size) BUT 4 have died and have been removed and replaced. Now 2 or 3 more are turning brown and seem to be going the same way. Can you help? On the news on the TV this morning, there was a mention of a pest attacking Leylandii trees accross the country - (a form of Larva). Do you know anything about this and how it can be treated?

You could try insecticides, it's the cheapest option to try first and if it is the Aphids then it should kill them and return your trees back to normal in a few months.
