Q) Hi
Can you advise me what to do / buy please.
I have about 50 trees which are 7ft high and turning brown with leaves falling off up to 2ft from the ground. Is this a common problem or disease?
Many thanks, A) The leaves or branches on Leylandii shouldn't really be falling off from Leylandii. Turning brown isn't that much of a problem as it is pretty common and will go back in most cases as the weather condition improves, around autumn. I would certainly look to invest in certain pesticides to try to solve the issue before you progress to replacing the trees. Give it around 3 months from when you first treat your trees.
