Best Time To Prune Leylandii

Q: Please advise when it is best to prune Leylandii hedges?  Is it best not to prune the Leylandii in the autumn but preferably to prune the hedges in the spring?

A) Whichever part of the year you choose to prune them is fine, we usually advise that pruning them in early spring or early autumn is the best time if you want the best looking trees.

If the weather is still warm or unusually warm around the time you cut them, please remember to give them plenty of water.
